Offered here is a late 1990's, Scotty Cameron Tour Newport with a welded round stainless steel neck.
Vog says: Wow, wow, wow. When Ryan and I picked up the "deep South" collection, this is a putter I spent more time with than most collectors would if they had been in my shoes. In a word, I was smitten (if one can be smitten with a putter). It's another early tour two-toned putter, with a finish the COA refers to as "misted torch!" That's a new one on me! It also has a welded stainless 1.5 round neck. It has a solid cavity-which tend to be a touch heavier than other Newport heads. It's all tour business here. The "deep South" collection had a total of six two-toned, true tour prototypes, and in 33 years of collecting I think I have seen a total of two other two-toned tour putters made in this late 1990's time period. For further reference, to my knowledge Scotty did not make another two tone putter for the tour or the collector's market until 2009 when he made me a chromatic blue and bronze Twisty 009. Now, collectors pay dearly for a two tone putter yet here is a real tour putter, made for former player Chris Perry and authenticated as such, with the same look.
Condition is excellent, 9 out of 10, with rare 1998 Xperimental Proto grip, 35" length
Certificate of Authenticity from Scotty Cameron
