Offered here is a rare and unusual Scotty Cameron Newport II "TTTPP" in pro platinum finish.

Vog says: As part of the "deep South" collection, thankfully our consignor had great notes from the distributor he acquired this from over 25 years ago. Frankly I have seen one of two of these but never knew exactly what "TTTPP" meant and how rare it is. "TTTPP" stands for Titleist Tour Test (Sample) Pro Platinum. According to the notes provided, 25 sets of these were made-I'm assuming that means 25 each of the Cameron models at the time-Newport 2, Napa, Catalina 2, Coronado 2, Santa Fe, etc. The notes also say just 20 Newports were made as well. Here's where I need to use my history of a Cameron collector-I've never seen anything other than a Newport or Newport 2 with this TTTPP markings, so I'm thinking 25 Newport II's were made and 20 Newports. Based on the two or three of these I've seen since they were likely made in 1999 or so, 20 and 25 make sense.

Length is 35" cord grip, solid cavity head, black flag cover, condition is 9.5 out of 10 near mint
