Offered here is a unusual Scotty Cameron Tour Newport "HPP" with pro platinum finish and flangeline.

Vog says: Another from the "Deep South" collection. Another putter that I wasn't sure I had seen before. We have a Newport II "TTTPP" that I had seen 1 or 2 before, but a HPP? I had not seen one previously, and I sure didn't know what HPP stood for. Thanks to our consignor's records, now I do. The distributor who sold him this putter almost 25 years ago said 20 putters were made for the tour with this flangeline. And HPP stands for Heavy Pro Platinum, as it has a solid cavity. Early Newport and Newport II's with a solid cavity have a small but avid following. They are supposedly a little heavier (I personally have never weighed one) but this is called an HPP for a reason. Why is it heavier? These solid cavities appear to be made from the same milling instructions as a Newport and Newport II Teryllium. Those heads have the same solid cavity, yet have 32 holes drilled in the back for the "dots." Those holes had to have removed some weight. So is this head 350 grams? My best guess is 340 grams.

Length is 35" pro platinum headcover, cord grip, condition is 9.5 out of 10 appears unused and near mint/mint
