Offered here is a true, one-of-a-kind Scotty Cameron Coronado Tour Prototype-in two tone finish!
Vog says: First of all, check out the old COA number, although this putter predates the COA date! Scotty has produced a very limited number of two tone putters as collectors pieces the last 10-15 years and they have become some of the most desired Cameron putters in the secondary or resale market. Typically Scotty combined two different metals, carbon steel and stainless steel, and the same chemical process produced two different finishes on the two metals. On this one, an early experimental model likely made for the tour as a test sample in 1996-1997 (a telltale sign of the date is the PROTO stamping, along with the "chunky" letter stamps he used), Scotty used a carbon steel head and a stainless steel neck, and applied a black oxide finish. Except the black oxide will not turn stainless steel-black oxide produces essentially a rusting like oxidation, and stainless steel is, well, stainless. It won't rust-thus the two finishes! An example of a two tone finish made for the tour a decade before us collectors saw them!
Condition is 9.5+ out of 10, near mint/mint, unused, with art of putting circle T headcover. 35"
