Offer here are four unused balata shells that are typical of what was molded around the rubber cores of balata covered golf balls produced during the 1920s and thereafter. While these unused shells are each chipped in places, they are exceedingly fragile and extremely rare. Also included is a 1942 press photo (6x8) showing the various steps of a balata golf ball cover restoration.
