Pine Valley has a long and distinguished history. It is simultaneously considered to be both the best and the most difficult course in the World. It is also one of the most exclusive. Pine Valley has opened its doors to outsiders only on rare occasions. One such occasion was the 1985 Walker Cup, which pitted the top amateurs in America against the top amateurs of Europe.
