This lot consists of the early 1900s driver and iron fourth and fifth from the left in this group picture.  This outstanding pair of juvenile clubs, consisting of a 20 1/4" iron and a 24 1/4 driver with original shafts and grips, would have been used by a 3-4 year old child, roughly. Both clubs are marked by the maker, CC Chattell Co. of Chicago.  It's really easy to develop an affinity for these delicate, well made little clubs.

In the close up images of these clubs, one can see how accurate and to scale each clubhead is—it looks like an adult size club, and is made to the same quality standards using the same materials.

The club on the far left of the group picture is an adult-size Tom Morris play club also offered in this auction. It is shown for perspective.
