Donald Swan, of Grosse Ile, Michigan, received a U.S. patent (No. 1,678,750) dated July 31. 1928, that covered this putter, which has a deep face and a flange that projects forward from the top of the blade. The flange on Swan’s putter comes to a distinct point above the ball to help the golfer line up his or her shot.
Original 33 1/8" shaft with original grip. Full 2" face depth. Beautiful chromed example with some, all things considered, minor pitting on the face. See TCA2 v2 p579.
