This is a rare original circa early 1930s photograph of Augusta National Golf Club. This image depicts the then-17th hole (now the Par 5 8th hole) and its iconic mounds and green. This image was likely taken around the time of Augusta National's Grand Opening on January 13, 1933.

This photograph is from the personal collection of Wendell P. Miller, who was the Chief Engineer and Construction Manager for the construction Augusta National's golf course. Accompanying this photograph is a letter of provenance from Wendell P. Miller's son, Wendell S. Miller.
