1833-34 Edinburgh Postal Directory. This piece of 190+ year old Scottish history has numerous ties to early golf figures. The Postal Directory, which includes the names, addresses, and occupations of every citizen of Edinburgh and Leith, also has the original foldout map of the city as well. The foldout map even shows the locations afor and identifies Bruntsfield Links and Leith Links. Pages include names of numerous early golf club makers and golf ball makers such as William Gourlay, James McEwan, Peter McEwan, George Robertson, Charles Stewart, and Alex Alexander.
