Offered here is the actual Globe Life Insurance policy renewal for Old Tom Morris. This £100 life insurance policy was valid from December 5 1859 to December 5 1860. The timing of this life insurance policy is quite interesting, as Tom's mentor Allan Robertson passed away just weeks earlier on September 1, 1959. This early Tom Morris document dates to when Tom was only 38 years old - long before he gained the moniker "Old" Tom. There is an embossed One Penny Receipt stamp on the top left. A highly important document from one of the game's most important figures.
