Offered here is Tony Jacklin’s original 1971 Ryder Cup trophy. The 1971 Ryder Cup was won by the Americans by a score of 18 1/2 to 13 1/2 at Old Warson in St. Louis. The United States Team included Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, and Lee Trevino, and the Brits featured Tony Jacklin, Peter Oosterhuis, and Bernard Gallacher.

Though his British Team was defeated, Tony Jacklin contributed 1.5 points to his team’s total. It should be noted that this official Ryder Cup trophy was presented to Tony Jacklin some years after his retirement, though this in no way diminishes from this trophy’s enormous appeal. It is the only official Ryder Cup trophy ever produced for Tony Jacklin for the 1971 Ryder Cup.

This Ryder Cup trophy stands 12” tall and measures 6” from handle to handle.
