1927 Churchman Famous Golfers (Large)

    The 1927 Churchman Famous Golfers (Large) set consists on only 12 cards, including Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, and Harry Vardon.  These cards are very difficult to locate in large condition, as their large size seems to have made them more vulnerable to damage over time.  The PSA population report shows 826 total cards of the 1927 Churchman Small set have been graded, but only 89 total cards have ever been graded from this 1927 Churchman Large set.  In fact, only 3 complete sets have ever been graded.  This is truly remarkable considering the set only consists of 12 cards!  This shows you just how rare this set really is. 

    Virtually never seen in complete set form, this presents an excellent opportunity to pick up a truly rare vintage golf set. Many dedicated collectors have been looking for the Jones and Hagen cards from this series for a long time. A great set in overall VG-Ex condition.
