1995 Masters Flag

   Most collectors are aware of the more common dated embroidered flags that have been sold at The Masters Tournament since 1999, as well as the undated embroidered flags that were sold in 1998 and 2002.  But many collectors are unaware that there are 3 different Masters flags that were sold in the mid-1990s - a white flag in 1993 and again in 1996, an emerald green flag in 1994, and this yellow flag from 1995.  These flags have been dubbed the Lightweight "Trio" or "Trilogy."

   Presented here is an authentic, unsigned 1995 Masters flag.  While Masters flags are currently produced in great quantity, this was not the case in 1995.  The boom in golf flag collecting had not yet occurred.  In fact, the Masters was one of the only tournaments in the world that sold flags to its patrons.  This flag, especially in unsigned condition, is surely missing from most Masters and golf flag collections.  Letter of Authenticity from Ryan Carey/Tourflags.com
