Offered in 1931 and 1932 at $22.50 per club, MacGregor's premier Master 30 Model were once MacGregor's premier woods. According to MacGregor's 1932 catalog, the Model 30 head is "selected persimmon, entirely covered with black Mac-oid" with a "pearl insert across the top" (actually mother of pearl). The face is covered with White Mac-oid...with 7 scruloc inserts of the same material. The "center wedge backweight" is also white Mac-oid. Individual clubs are VERY scarce, full sets are almost unheard of. This would be the centerpiece to any fancy face club collection. These clubs were owned and used by Sam Snead. Letter from the owner accompanies these fine woods. These are perhaps the most beautiful woods that any company has ever made.
