Rare 1992 Masters Plate - Plate #1!!

        This is a very rare Augusta National Golf Club member's gift. Augusta National Golf Club gave each of its members 2 plates a year from 1992 to 1997. Each plate was numbered and display the year they were produced. Since these plates were only given to Augusta National members, very few have been offered at auction. Pictured below is a photo of the 1968 Champion's Dinner that shows a similar plate being used. The picture comes from page 34 of the 1973 book The Masters: Profile of a Tournament (The one with the fancy Green Jacket cover).

    Presented here is certainly the most desirable Masters Tournament plate in existence - plate #1 from the first year these plates were ever produced for Augusta National members, 1992. That's right, the very first plate every struck from the very first year they were produced!
