1997 Masters Flag

        Here it is, the holy grail of tournament-sold golf flags. This very flag started the golf flag craze in the late 90's and early 2000's, and will no doubt lead the golf flag market for decades to come. This fully-embroidered flag was only sold at the 1997 Masters Tournament. The flag sold out very quickly in the merchandise tent in 1997. Then, after Tiger Woods' historic first Major Championship victory, it seemed that every golf collector had to have this flag. The 1997 Masters flag was the first unsigned flag to ever sell for over $100; the first to sell for over $1,000; and the first to ever sell for over $4,000.
