Tiger Woods' Personal Titleist Irons

         For on the 2nd time ever, a set of Tiger Woods' personal irons is being offered for sale. [The first was sold by Green Jacket Auctions in our Summer 2010 Golf Auction for $57,000]

        This set comes to us from the man who was employed as Tiger Woods' body double in literally dozens of TV Commercials for the likes of Buick, Accenture, Nike and others. Check out the great photos of him with Tiger below! It must be remembered that the scandal that rocked Tiger's career also altered the careers - and lives - of many others as well.

        This is an original set of Tiger Woods' Titleist 681 irons, which were personally given by Tiger himself to his friend and body double, who has personally consigned them to Green Jacket Auctions. Tiger brought these irons to a shoot for a Buick TV Commercial on Thursday, December 18, 1999. After using them in the shoot, Tiger gave the irons to our consignor. Easily the most cherished item from all of his work with Tiger Woods, our consignor is now forced to part with this original set of Tiger's irons.

        Even the limited edition replica Titleist 681 irons are sought-after by collectors, as only 500 were ever produced. But those limited edition commercially-available irons are different than these personal models of Tiger's. First, the replica clubs contain a "T" stamp on the head, whereas no such stamp is included on Tiger's own clubs.

        But even more importantly, take a look at the serial number on these clubs. Fittingly, Tiger's personal irons are serial #0001.

        Unfortunately, our consignor never bothered to ask Tiger about which tournaments, if any, he used them in. So as we sit here today, all we know is that these are Tiger's personal set of Titleist 681 irons and that they show exceptional use. 

        Included with these clubs will be a personal letter from our consignor directly addressed to the winning bidder attesting to the clubs authenticity. Also included is an original 1999 call sheet from the Buick TV commercial shoot where our consignor received these clubs from Tiger.
