1780's-1800's Red Keel Spoon

Very few long nose clubs from the late 1700's to early 1800's are known to exist. This offered Spoon has a brilliant red keel finish. It was originally discovered in Aberdeen, Scotland, and has been expertly restored because of the poor condition it was originally found in. The restoration work was performed approximately 20 years ago by golf club appraiser and historian Bob Gowland. Gowland is probably most well-known to collectors for his definitive book on early golf clubs, The Oldest Clubs 1650-1850.
