Mary Palmer Pierce's Personal Copy
of Snoopy's Grand Slam
Signed by 120 Masters Participants
w/ Claude Harmon, Demaret
This is an original copy of Charles
Schwartz' Snoopy's Grand Slam - a book about Snoopy trying to win golf
tournaments, including the Masters. This book was personally owned by one of the
most beloved Augusta National employees of all-time, Mary Palmer Pierce. Mrs.
Palmer Pierce obtained approximately 120 autographs of golfers that participated
in the Masters over the years, including a scarce autograph of 1948 Masters
Champ Claude Harmon.
In addition to Claude Harmon, this book contains autographs of dozens of Major
Champions, including Masters Champs such as Jimmy Demaret (deceased), Henry
Picard (deceased), Ralph Guldahl (deceased), Byron Nelson (deceased), Herman
Keiser (deceased), Sam Snead (deceased), Art Wall, Jr. (deceased), Gene Sarazen
(deceased), Seve Ballesteros (deceased), Gay Brewer (deceased), not to mention
Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.
The page with Claude Harmon and Jimmy Demaret alone is worth more than the
reserve on this lot.
There are too many other autographs in this book to list, but include at least
another 17 Masters Champions and dozens of Major Champs such as the late Payne
Stewart.
This incredible book measures 7 1/4"
x 7 1/4".
