1st U.S. Printed Golf Book

        Offered here is an original 1890 Golf by Horace Hutcinson, which was part of the famous Badminton Library series of books. But this is not your average (well, if "average" can even be used to describe a 123 year old book) version of this famous book. The offered example is an exceedingly rare "Boston" printing. The fact that this is a Boston printing is highly significant in that this is the very first golf book ever printed in the United States. Now, 123 years later, tens of thousands of golf books have been printed in America - but it all started with this exact book.

          This is a rare book that would be the cornerstone of most any golf book collection. This ex-libre copy is in good to very good condition collection.
