Ed Dudley's 1930 Shawnee Gold Medal

In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal
collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the
PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta
National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every
Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight
Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
Presented here is Ed Dudley's actual
Winner's gold medal from his 4th PGA victory, which occurred at the 1930 Shawnee
Open. This was Dudley's 4th of 15 PGA Tour victories.
This is a rare opportunity to own an
early PGA Winner's gold medal. This 14k gold medal measures 1 1/2" in diameter.
