Ben Hogan
Ed Dudley's
1947 Bing Crosby Pro-Am
Contestant Badge
In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal
collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the
PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta
National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every
Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight
Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
The Bing Corsby Pro-Am was held for
only the 7th time in 1947. Of course, golf fans know the tournament today as the
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, as it remains one of the most popular PGA
Tour stops of the year.
Presented here is Ed Dudley's actual
contestant's badge from the 1947 Bing Crosby Pro-Am.
