High Grade The Excello Mesh Gutty 

This is a high grade The Excello gutta percha golf ball. This is a fine and rare example of this elusive mesh gutty. This ball dates to approximately 1910, and still retains approximately 95% of its original paint.

The ball also has wonderful provenance, as it came from noted collector Frank Hardison. Hardison spent over 70 years collecting and is most-known for his purchase of the golf balls from the famous Harry B. Wood collection. Hardison owned this particular ball for over 30 years.
