Fine and Rare The Bullet Mesh Gutty

This is a high grade The Bullet gutta percha golf ball. This fine and unused mesh gutty bears a linear and embedded "BULLET" name, dates to approximately 1910, and still retains approximately 90-95% of its original paint. The ball is quite small in size, but is heavy, and was ideal for playing in the wind (hence its name, The Bullet).

The ball also has wonderful provenance, as it came from noted collector Frank Hardison. Hardison spent over 70 years collecting and is most-known for his purchase of the golf balls from the famous Harry B. Wood collection. Hardison owned this particular ball for over 40 years.

Letter of Authenticity from Green Jacket Auctions.
