Original Set of Ping Anser Irons Circa 1967

Early examples of Karsten Solheim's (and Ping's) work are the stuff of legend among modern golf club collectors. Offered here is one of the original sets of circa 1967 Ping Anser irons. Only 300 of these irons were produced, this being set #164. It is believed that less than 30-40 complete sets may remain, and surely very few in such exemplary condition.

This set consists of 10 clubs - 2 through 9, and PW & SW. The irons 2-9 are numbered 164, though the PW & SW are not numbered (which is to be expected). The clubs each contain 3 original shaft bands.

Extraordinary set in remarkable high grade condition.
