Offered here is an extraordinary autographed photograph of George Von Elm and Billy Burke from the 1931 US Open at Iverness. This photo was taken shortly after their history-making 72 hole playoff. Following this marathon playoff, the USGA changed the rules to ensure that this would not happen again. The 1931 US Open was Billy Burke's only Major Championship victory, and this is certainly one of the only autographed photos from that victory. Measures 5 3/8" x 7 3/4". In very good condition with lower right corner missing. Autographs are in black ink.
