Lot Description  

Offered here is Gene Sarazen's 1953 Senior PGA Championship Runner-Up Silver Medal. The Senior PGA Championship is the oldest Senior Major Championship, having started in 1937. Then 51 year old Gene Sarazen finished 2nd in 1953, though he would avenge his loss the following year in winning the '54 title. Measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/2", Sterling Silver.
