For this auction, we found an impressive cache of rare Bobby Jones photographs. During a consignment run up the East Coast, tucked away in a basement in Atlanta, were some Bobby Jones photographs that we've never seen before.

Offered here is a never-before-seen photograph of Bobby Jones wearing one of the early "ANGC" patch green jackets. When a purported Bobby Jones green jacket went up for auction a few years ago (and sold for $310,000), even noted Bobby Jones biographer Sid Matthew stated that no known photos of Jones wearing an ANGC patch green jacket existed. This statement was made despite the fact that Matthew had the largest collection of Bobby Jones research in the world.

Well, here is that photo. This never-before-seen photograph is a studio photograph taken of Bobby Jones at Reeves Studios in Atlanta. The photo is incredibly sharp, and measures 5x7".
