For this auction, we found an impressive cache of rare Bobby Jones photographs. During a consignment run up the East Coast, tucked away in a basement in Atlanta, were some Bobby Jones photographs that we've never seen before.

Offered here is a rare photograph of a 15 year old Bobby Jones from a 1917 Red Cross event. We've never seen this photo before, though with the help of the USGA, we are able to date this image to the 1917 Red Cross matches due to Jones wearing a black ribbon.

There is a handwritten date on the reverse of the photo of 2/8/34, though this is almost certainly when the press photo was re-used in advance of the inaugural Masters Tournament in 1934.
