Presented here is an exceptional Prohibition era "Scotch Golf" tabletop "gambling" game. This circa 1920s-30s 1 cent machine was more than just a game to score "points." Since gambling was outlawed, tabletop games like this were used. No money was distributed by the machine. Instead, a sign next to the game would identify prizes (candy, cigarettes, etc) for achieving a certain number of points. However, those were fake prizes; the "points" achieved in the game were actually payable in cash by the bar owner, shopkeeper, etc.

This impressive machine is in full working order, and even includes the keys. It measures 18" tall x 9" wide x 7" deep. Displays magnificently.
