Though Merion Golf Club is most famous for using wicker standards in place of golf flags even to this day, this practice was slightly more common in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Sadly, few of those wicker baskets, and even fewer of the original flagsticks, have survived. Offered here is the truly rare chance to own an original circa late 1800s to early 1900s wicker basket on its original bamboo pole. It stands 6' tall with 10" high wicker.
