This is one of only 12 custom drivers made by Wood Brothers for the Masters
Tournament back in 1994. The Wood Brothers made only 12 hardened persimmon
drivers (6 with steel shafts, 6 with graphite) for Augusta National Golf Club.
Speculation is that these were prototypes made by Wood Brothers for Augusta
National in hopes of scoring the business to produce more of these to be sold at
The Masters Tournament each year. For whatever reason, that big order from
Augusta National never came and only the 12 original drivers were produced.
This example is one of the six graphite shafted drivers that
were produced. It remains in new condition and has never been hit. 44 1/2"
