The 1900 Copes Golfers set is the most sought after golf card set of all time.  An article in PSA's Sports Market Report (June 2006 edition) refers to the 1900 Copes Golfers set as "the Mecca of all golf card sets." Original Copes cards from the 50 card set are extremely rare, and this is generally considered the first real golf card set ever produced. 

Offered here are 7 original golf cards from the 1900 Cope Bros. Co. Ltd., including the rare JH Taylor card. set. 4 of the cards have narrow boards and the other 3 have the wide border. Fronts of cards are very clean, some light pencil marks on the back of 4 cards. Cards average Very Good condition.
