The early 1900s Ogden's golf card sets are some of the earliest (and rarest) golf cards ever produced. These were tobacco issues. Included in this lot are 3 of the 6 total cards from the 1901 "Guinea Gold" Series set including Harry Vardon, John Ball, and J. Graham Jr. Also included in this lot are the only two cards from the 1902 Guinea Golf "New Series 1" - Lawrence Rea/Dennie O'Sullivan and Courtice Pounds/George Grossmith. These 5 cards are very hard to find. Each card is Good to Very Good condition.
