The title of this photograph should be "About to Make History..."

This is an original press photograph of Bobby Jones on the driving range before his final match of the 1930 US Amateur. Jones was a mere hours away from possibly winning the Grand Slam, and here he is pictured hitting practice range balls while a massive crowd looks on. Seriously, have you ever seen so many people crowd a driving range before?

 The 8x10" photo originates from the Philadelphia Inquirer, and is stamped September 28, 1930 - the after Jones won the Grand Slam.
