Offered here is a circa late 1920s Nicoll Patent (Applied For) Curved Grip Murray Putter. According to Jeff Ellis, the "curved grip was designed to provide a pendulum stroke without requiring a croquet stance." Ellis also concludes that "this is one of only two Murray putters known." Overall very good condition. 

 This club originates from the famed Jeff Ellis Collection, and this exact club was featured in his books The Clubmaker's Art (TCA 1, p. 535; TCA 2, p. 678). This club has not reached the collector market since its sale at the 2007 Sotheby's auction of the Jeff Ellis Collection.
