Offered here is an exceptional, high quality image of famed golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. This photograph is dated on the reverse March 9, 1926. Based on that info, we know that MacKenzie was aboard the S.S. Berengaria sailing from New York to Southampton, England on his way home from his 1st trip to the United States. At this point, MacKenzie had not yet designed Cypress Point Club, and wouldn't meet Bobby Jones until years later.
