Offered here is a rare original photograph from the 1st tee box on Day 1 of the Inaugural Masters Tournament in 1934. Paul Runyan is seen in his follow-through as the great Bobby Jones sits on the bench and watches on. This marked the great Jones' return to golf - nearly 4 years removed from his retirement after the 1930 Grand Slam. Bobby Jones was back playing competitive golf, and this crowd around the tee box got to watch history - Jones' return, and the birth of the Masters Tournament.
