Here we have a Macgregor Claude Harmon Winged Foot 3852MS 2-8 iron set with their original green coated steel shafts and 38 1/2 " 2 iron. Neutralizer is marked on hosel. Set is missing the 9 iron. Regripped with Golf Pride Victory grips.

Claude Harmon was the 1948 Master’s champ.  He was on MacGregor’s advisory staff, but MacGregor did not offer clubs with his name in any of their catalogs. Such a set as this, bearing Harmons name and the course where he was the pro, could have been ordered to sell at his course, given a large enough order, or he once used this set himself. Harmon was the pro at Winged Foot from 1945 to 1978.
