Offered here is another set of incredibly rare, MacGregor VIP "special order" persimmon woods, 1-3-4 with the Burning Tree logo-an exclusive club in Washington DC. How exclusive? Maybe one of the top 10 most exclusive clubs in the United States.

From 1959-1967 MacGregor produced a very limited number of custom clubs using the Toney Penna name (their lead club designer at the time) and VIP brand as well. Each set was custom ordered and there are rarely two sets exactly the same with different grinds, shapes, inserts, finishes, etc. These have the coveted SO serial number (for special order) and as a bonus were made for the famed exclusive Burning Tree Club in Washington D.C. According to Vog, before he unearthed these in this very special collection, he only had ever seen one MacGregor club with the Burning Tree logo-and he owns it! 

Driver and 4 woods are all original; shafts, grips and finish. The 3 wood has been regripped and refinished. Macgregor Tourney C shafts. Driver is 43.5" In excellent condition
