Offered here is an exceptional original photo of Francis Ouimet posing with the Havemayer Trophy after his victory in the 1931 US Amateur Championship. It was Ouimet's 3rd USGA victory, behind his unthinkable victory in the 1913 US Open at The Country Club and the 1914 US Amateur at Ekwanok. After those two early victories, Ouimet continued to be a perennial US Amateur contender, but would go seventeen years until he prevailed again, winning the Havemayer Trophy at Chicago's Beverly Country Club.
