Vog Says: Wow, wow, wow. I really consider 2006 to be in the middle of the "Golden Age" (pun intended) of Scotty Cameron tour putters. Scotty had released the 009 in late 2004/early 2005 and instantly was so much in demand, even I couldn't get in the queue to get one; I waited almost 4 years to get one made for me. The finish on this one is black pearl, a finish Scotty no longer makes. My first attempt in late 2005 to get a black pearl 009 ordered was unsuccessful as the studio was having problems with the finish, but later made precious few with the finish until it was permanently "retired." From what I've seen a black pearl finish on a 009 almost doubles the value! This one also has snow stamped on the bumpers - I've probably seen fewer than ten 009's with snow. Finally the stamping - the letters are good and "dancing" and the putter also has a peace sign and a stamp rarely seen on the face. Scotty referred to this stamp - the oval and the "<" sign to be a "retro" stamp, as it reminded him of logos different companies used in the 50's. We just will never see a new putter like this - period.
Near mint condition. 9.8/10. 34".
