Offered here is a 1993-stamped, Scotty Cameron "Scott" Cameron hand made putter. Black oxide finish, 3 point crown stamped on back.
Vog says: Scotty has been making putters since he was a teenager. When he started making putters for a living, they were all made by hand, crafting the raw head from a black of carbon steel on a vertical Bridgeport milling machine. When he decided to produce his first line of putters that were born on a CNC (computer numerically controlled) milling machine, he faced a quandary; how would his customers, and future owners of his putters, know if one of his putters was made by hand or machined via CNC? He decided his CNC-formed production putters would be marked "Scotty" Cameron. This one as you can see was made in 1993. It has all the signs of an all-original hand made: 1. There's nice milling. 2. The stamping has mushrooming all over, and the white paint has gotten nice and "dirty" which is what happens when the white paint ages. It also has an old-school 3 point crown, great dancing letters, and the cool milling at the base of the neck-something Scotty did to clean up the weld of the neck-it's a cool look that I have always enjoyed.
Condition is mint, 9.8 out of 10, with aftermarket plastic on grip (Scotty never wrapped his early grips in shrinkwrap plastic) includes correct Scotty Cameron Milled Putters green headcover. 35"
Certificate of Authenticity from Scotty Cameron.
