Offered here is an early Scotty Cameron "Scott" Cameron hand made Napa/8802 style putter. Stamped 3/92 on sole noting it was made in March of 1992; an early feature on Scotty's (and Scott's!) putters.
Vog says: Yes, this is one of the putters David Levine and I used in our 2001 book, The Art of Putters, The Scotty Cameron story. Yes, this was mine back in the day. Yes, Napa/8802 style hand made putters are rare; I estimate I have seen 10 in 33 years of collecting-and I remember each and every one. I eventually traded this to David, and was part of his collection that he sold to the late Rand Pallis in November of 2003. Rand sold to a restaurant owner around 2007, and he apparently sold it to our consignor close to 15 years ago-that's when I lost track of it. It's great to see this come to market again.
Condition is used, 8.0 out of 10, with non-Cameron branded Neumann leather grip, 34" with Scotty Cameron Milled Burgundy Headcover.
Certificate of authenticity from Scotty Cameron.
