In 1900, Harry Vardon became affiliated with A.G. Spalding & Bros. He played a number of exhibition matches across America and endorsed their equipment in the US. Marked "Harry Vardon, Special," this c. 1900 bulger driver is not one of those. It was made in the shop of his brother Tom Vardon for retail sale in the UK.
