The driver Bobby Jones used to win the Grand slam was made by Jack White, who also made this driver walking stic which appears to be a miniature connection to Jones' club.

This walking stick is made exactly like an actual club with its original two tone "alignment stripe" finish, neck whipping, rams horn, rams horn slip and lead back weight. This head is masterfully made just as an actual driver is constructed, only in miniature. The stick measures 35 1/2 " in length and has its brass tip on the end of its shaft.

The craftsmanship inherent in this marvelous piece shows off White's skills and helps show why Jones used a driver made by White. One of the accompany images shows Jones' driver as pictured in Sidney Matthew's book, The History of Bobby Jones' Clubs, p 284. The similarities between the two clubs is very apparent.

Ball shown in in an image is for perspective only.  It is not part of this lot but is its own lot in this auction.
