The back of head is stamped "W.M. Park, Musselburgh" in an oval. "Maker" was originally stamped across the center of the oval but has worn away.  The head is an early mashie, which had a shorter blade than a cleek and a lofter, but nice loft.  The 38 1/2" original shaft is stamped "Wm Park" with a replacement sheepskin-style grip that matches the period well.  Good club by a two time Open Champion.
