"Hello World"

With those two words, the most promising amateur golfer the world has ever seen announced himself as a professional golfer for the first time. A day later he made his professional debut at the 1996 Greater Milwaukee Open.

Offered here is a rare original weekly ticket from Tiger Woods' pro debut at the '96 Milwaukee Open. Needless to say, few fans in attendance could have predicted Tiger Woods' legendary career, let alone the rise of ticket collecting more than 2 decades later. This surely explains why less than 50 tickets from Tiger Woods' pro debut have surfaced in the intervening 26 years.

Professional “Debut” tickets are often among the most sought after and valuable tickets in the hobby. Debut tickets of Michael Jordan and Jackie Robinson have each sold for over $400,000, and debut tickets of other “Goats” like Wayne Gretzky and Mickey Mantle have also sold for six figures. Ticket collecting (other than Masters Badges) is brand new to the golf hobby. It’s easy to envision a future where a ticket to Tiger’s first tournament on the PGA Tour is worth significantly more in the coming years.

Offered here is a truly scarce Tiger Woods autographed ticket from his 1996 professional debut at the 1996 Greater Milwaukee Open. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA as a PSA 4 with a PSA 7 Auto grade.
