This ball is unique.  It is not documented in the normal books on antique golf balls.  It is similar to "The Link" which uses raised donut-shaped dimples connected by lines.  Only on this ball, the raised "donuts" or circles are bigger and more distinct, and they are not connected.

The ball is not marked on either pole, but the space is there to accept a name. The fact that it lacks a name and no others are known does indicate that not many were made, at least not like this.

There are some minor chips to the paint, but the ball appears unused. the plastic case the ball came in says "The Link R, 1910", and has a Ex Hardison collection sticker on it but no LOA.  Maybe this was an initial effort at producing what became "The Link"?  Whatever its genesis, this is a fabulous ball!
